Radical Green – Increasing citizens’ participation in the green transition through art performances and cultural initiatives aims to encourage citizen and youth participation in sustainable development and environmental action through art, culture, creativity and digital tools.

The project
“Art for Earth: Youth Shaping Sustainable Cities Creatively”
The event took place in Shkodër, Albania, from 21–23 September 2026, as part of the Radical Green project.
It brought together young people, artists, cultural organisations, local authorities, civil society representatives and international partners to explore how art and creativity can support environmental awareness, youth participation and sustainable cities.
The programme included creative workshops and collaborative artistic activities focused on recycled art, Land Art, biodiversity, digital art and Augmented Reality, as well as the development of environmental messages and collective artistic expressions inspired by Shkodër’s natural environment.
A key focus of the event was to connect creativity with environmental responsibility, while encouraging young people to actively contribute to discussions and initiatives related to sustainable development.

The event was organised within the framework of the Radical Green project, in cooperation with CODE Partners, Valletta Local Council, Focus Europe, project partners, the Municipality of Shkodër and local stakeholders, together with artists, cultural organisations and community representatives.
