As part of the “Radical Green” project, the second day of the transnational event continued with two activities bringing together art, nature, technology, and youth creativity.
♻️ FROM WASTE AND NATURE TO CREATIVE CLIMATE ACTION
The first activity focused on recycled art and Land Art.
During the “From Waste to Art” workshop, young participants worked with recyclable materials such as plastic, glass, paper, metal, and textiles, transforming them into artistic creations carrying messages about environmental protection.
🌱 The following workshop, “Nature as a Creative Space,” transformed nature into a space for artistic expression. Stones, branches, leaves, sand, flowers, and other natural elements were used to create temporary artworks inspired by the landscape, ecosystems, and biodiversity of Shkodër.
📱 DIGITAL ART AND AUGMENTED REALITY FOR ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS
The second activity focused on digital art and Augmented Reality (AR) as innovative tools for raising environmental awareness.
Participants explored how smartphones, technology, and digital tools can be used to communicate environmental challenges, making awareness-raising more interactive, creative, and accessible, while also connecting physical spaces with digital artistic content.
The Radical Green partnership brings together Valletta Local Council, Focus Europe ETS, Farm Cultural Park, Parc Naturel Régional de Corse, CODE Partners, and Sustainable Communication AISBL – S-COM to promote youth participation, culture, and sustainability across Europe.
