As part of the “Radical Green” project, the third day of the transnational event in Shkodër featured the closing activities, bringing together young people, art and nature around a shared message of biodiversity protection and sustainable development.
🎨 CELEBRATING SHKODËR’S BIODIVERSITY
Participants took part in creating a collective Land Art installation inspired by Shkodër’s biodiversity and natural heritage.
Using natural materials and following the “leave no trace” principle, the young participants created a temporary work of art, which was documented through photography and video before the space was restored to its natural state.
🌱 RADICAL GREEN MESSAGES FROM SHKODËR
The focus also turned to messages from young people and project partners about the connection between art, environmental responsibility, youth participation and biodiversity protection. Through their reflections, participants highlighted the important role of local communities in building a more sustainable future.
🎭 ART FOR BIODIVERSITY
The day also featured an artistic performance focused on biodiversity conservation and sustainability, placing art at the service of environmental awareness and communication.
🤝 The event concluded with a discussion of the results of the activities, contributions from project partners, and the presentation of the next steps of Radical Green, continuing the commitment to youth participation, culture and sustainability across Europe.
The Radical Green partnership brings together Valletta Local Council, Focus Europe ETS, Farm Cultural Park, Parc Naturel Régional de Corse, CODE Partners and Sustainable Communication AISBL – S-COM to promote youth participation, culture and sustainability across Europe.
