Establishing “Living Labs” to help young people in rural areas develop sustainable business models and community-driven initiatives.
- Pathway to EASTern EUrope RURAL livIng labs as a mean To empower youth at local level – EU Rurali TEAST (November 2023- November 2025; Funded by EU/Erasmus)
The main objective is the creation of Living Labs targeting youth workers and stakeholders operating and active in rural areas in order to promote the empowerment and upskilling/reskilling of young workers/entrepreneurs/NEETs with the scope to preserve and strengthen the capacities of rural communities to develop sustainable business models and promote territorial development starting from the youngsters.
- Facilitation of the deployment of training and knowledge transfer sessions for young workers and/or entrepreneurs operating in rural areas in the Eastern EU Countries.
- Creation of Living Labs to empower young workers and entrepreneurs and provide them with a set of skills and tools to boost a sustainable growth process on a local level, through leveraging their capacities and strengthening their skills.
- Ensuring the exchange of expertise and knowledge, through the organization of peer- learning activities and training.
- Enabling the exchange and dissemination of best practices to provide youth workers and/or entrepreneurs with the appropriate diagnosis and advice to introduce changes.
- Establish linkages with the existing community of EU Rural Living Labs to cooperate on a series of initiatives and different and innovative services to boost EU cooperation and growth.
