Community of Future | Social inclusion of orphans in Shkodra (2017 – 2022 Funded by AICS, Italian Government):

The main objective of the project was to promote the social inclusion of the orphaned children and youth of the Municipality of Scutari. The specific objectives were to improve the skills of social workers in the Municipality of Scutari to develop services with prepared and motivated staff; To improve the social, educational, and financial autonomy of orphans in the municipality of Scutari.

Inserted at least 60 orphans in work paths. 53 orphans were included in vocational training, 63 work grants with one year contract were realized, 5 starts ups and 2 social enterprises were funded  with the aim to ensure job placement and the resulting financial autonomy for beneficiaries of interventions (directly managed by CODE Partners)

Created a training certificate path for social workers in the Municipality of Scutari. Modules were created by University of Bologna and University of Shkoder. Realized ToT for 15 future trainers, who trained 120 social workers of Shkodra municipality.

Created a residential educational community for at 8 orphans, including construction and furnishing 2 floor building.
